Description:
At present, concrete reinforced steel fibers are mainly adopted in high-quality industrial floors, tunnel and bridge surface applications. After mixing with this reinforced steel fibers, the concrete has prefect flex resistance and shear strength, as well as high performance with tenacity, crack resistance, shock resistance and anti-seepage etc, which distinguishes the reinforced steel fibers concrete from normal concrete essentially. So the applications with steel fibers concrete can not only improve various technique indexes and optimize the project quality, but also save a large amount of reinforcing steel bars and cements, simplify the construction method and expedite the construction progress, which reduces greatly the total project cost on the condition of assuring the project quality. Currently it has confirmed by China Association for Engineering Construction Standardization, and Technical Specification for concrete structures reinforced with fibers CECS38:2004 has been published.
1)Reinforced Steel fiber Characteristic:
High Tensile Strength: Average tensile strength of steel fiber is more than 1150 Mpa which will ensure the steel fiber in the concrete not to be broken under the strong force.
With hooked ends: The hooked ends ensure optimum anchorage between steel fibers and concrete, so it will utilize steel fibers high tensile strength to maximum.
High Length/diameter Ratio: Under the condition of same weight, higher length/diameter ratio will produce more steel fibers. It will have more points of action of steel fibers inside the same volume concrete, the steel fiber concrete members will have higher load bearing capacity.
Minimum Steel fibers Dosages: Due to the high tensile strength and large length/diameter ratio for reinforced steel fibers, it needs much less reinforced steel fibers than other traditional steel fibers product under the same engineering condition.
