The advantages of the liquid ring principle over dry running or oil lubricated compressor and pump systems are clear and fully utilized. The 2BE1 has 100% oil-free compression; is insensitive to dust, foam and water drops; and can achieve inlet pressures up to 33 mbar absolute. All 2BE1 models are still available from nash_elmo, the original designer and manufacturer.
