In principle various plant residues in soil are corrupted and decomposed to become organic matter, humics and humic acid under long time affection of multiple microorganisms and natural environment. Thus, to simulate the principle, you can abstract humic acid (called A4/A6 ratio of humic acid or fulvic acids in the pedology) from rich soil organic matter. In such kind of humic acid, theA4/A6 ratio of humic acid has proprerties of high molecular weight, water insoluble but alkali soluble, precipitation by flocculation within acid medium and bivalent salt solution. The properties are similar to those of brownish black humic acid from coal resources. Whereas, the fulvic acidsis another kind of organic acid with properties of low molecular weight, water and acid soluble, no precipitation by flocculation in bivalent salt solution.
