    petasin , isopetasin, petasol, riboflavin, (free pyrrolizidine alkoloids)

Effects & Used:

    anti-allergy , anti-spasmodic, anti-inflammatory;

    inhibit the production of leukotriene and histamine;

    treatment or prevention of migraines, allergies , asthma , ulcers , and hay fever ( allergic rhinitis);

    supports healthy bladder function ( diuretic ) ;

    reduce smooth muscle spasm ;

Dosage:

    Standardized extracts ( 15% sesquiterpenes ), 150~300mg/day;

    Side effects: not recommended for pregnant , lactation and kidney disease
