Imidacloprid is a systemic insecticide, chemically related to the tobacco toxin, nicotine. It works by blocking the elements of the insect nervous system which are more susceptible to the toxic effects of imidacloprid than those of warm blooded animals.
Control of sucking insects, including
rice hoppers, aphids, thrips and white flies. Also effective against soil insects, termites and some species of biting insects, such as
rice water weevil and colorado bettle. Has no effect on mematodes or spider mites. Used as a seed dressing, soil treatment and as soliar spray in rice, cotton, cereal, maize, sugar beet, potatoes, vegetables and fruits.
Formulation: 95%TC, 70%WS, 70%WP, 70%WDG, 35%SC, 25%WP, 20%SL, and mixtures with other insecticides.
