quality. River or lake
water can contain high levels of salts, silt and biological organisms that foul heat exchangers. This reduces the efficiency of the heat exchanger and may result in
tube failure on high temperature applications. Sea
water or brackish
water also has high levels of chloride, which can result in stress-corrosion cracking of high temperature tubes. A Cooling Water Isolation System eliminates these problems by providing isolation between the raw cooling
water and the recirculating cooling water, and can provide automatic temperature control.

1. Dual Pump with auto-failover to backup.
2. Filter/strainer for incoming cooling
water. This helps reduce fouling of the heat exchanger.
3. Heat exchanger backflush system. Reverse the cooling
