1) The catalytic converter consists of an outside steel shell(S304 or S409 material) and inside substrate (metal or ceramic) coated with noble metals of Pt, Pd, and Rh
2) When the exhaust is passing through the three-way catalytic converter, CO,
HC, and NOx, the activity of gas is enhanced
3) Under such a high temperature, the CO would be oxidized into a gas without
color and poison, CO2; meanwhile the HC compound is turned into H2O and CO2; finally the NOx is deoxidized into nitrogen,the three gases are turned into the non-toxic gas to purify exhaust.
