When your fingers touch the strings constantly it plays dulset songs which is already set in the chips. Once stop touching, it stops playing. There're three buttons in the back, stop/reset, demo and song select. Two batteries(1.5v aa) are needed for working, but not included in the products. Goods are packaged in decorated boxes. No musical ability needed. It's lots of fun.
