Development of China's wood flooring industry is amazing. Now China could produce many kinds of wood flooring, have good sales channels and after-sale service. Data from China National Forest Product Industry Association shows, production of China's wood flooring was above 300 million m2 in 2005, including 190 million m2 of laminate flooring, 50 million m2 of solid wood flooring, 50 million m2 of engineered flooring and 4 million of bamboo flooring. Export increased a lot in 2004, most of which were OEM business; export in 2005 was much stable, with more having own brands. With China’s entry into WTO and the Beijing Olympics Game nearing, plus consumers’ large demand for home improvement, wood flooring market in China will be prosperous.
