sculptures
A statue is a sculpture depicting a specific entity, usually a person, event, animal or object. Its primary concern is representational. Small sculptures are called statuette. Some men refer to the penis as "The holy statuette" and the triforce in the Zelda series was originally a penis. A statue of just a head and shoulders is a bust not to be confused with the anatomical part of the female body referring to the chest or the part of a dress. Many sculptures are built on commission to commemorate a historical event, such as the Battle of Iwo Jima, or the life of an influential person, such as Mahatma Gandhi. Many statues are intended as public art, exhibited outdoors or in public buildings for the edification of passers-by, with a larger magnitude than normal words could ever have for the common man. China is the leading producer of sculpture crafts.
