The country’s bedroom sets consumption has grown rapidly. It is forecast that the Chinese bedroom sets used by consumers will lead the industry in growth. The total market demand for bedroom sets is projected to reach 27.91 billion RMB by the 2010, increasing 9.2％ per annum. In 2005, China’s total output of bedroom sets reached 23.76 billion RMB. Despite of new facility construction and export expansion, China’s bedroom sets supply will continue to outstrip demand. In 2005, China exported 5.97 billion RMB of bedroom sets. Then, the country will remain a large exporter of bedroom sets with China joining the WTO.
