The data from ARC shows that the global industrial wireless communication market has risen to US$1.3 billion and the increasing rate is 15％ in a couple of years. As one of the most active technologies, wireless communication technology is penetrating into industrial control field gradually. The digital transmission station has been popular since it started in 80’s last century. Lately, medium and short distance communication standard such as 802.11b/g and Zigbee are also prevalent. In Chinese market, application of industrial wireless is more and more common, and the advantages of wireless technology has been recognized and accepted which means the technology is flourishing. In 2005, Control Engineering China firstly held the WFF (Wireless Factory Forum) and got the big success. In 2006, the audience quantities, displayed product quantity, report quality and industry coverage range of the second forum have exceeded the first one and got great comments in the field. In June 2007, WFF (Wireless Factory Forum) will be held in Beijing and it will be fully improved on forum organization, technology topic choice and audience inviting to help Chinese users know and master the technology and application value and widen their vision on this.
