Nearly 30 Fortune 500 enterprises will gather together at 2008 2nd Dialogue between Fortune 500 and APEC Small and Medium Enterprises to be held at Shangri-la Hotel from May 30 to May 31 in Qingdao. As the theme forum of the 5th APEC Small and Medium Enterprises Technology Conference and Fair (APEC METC), the forum is sponsored by National Development and Reform Commission of P.R. China, co-sponsored by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of Commerce and organized by China Center for Business Cooperation and Coordination and Qingdao Municipal People’s Government.

The 1st session of Dialogue between Fortune 500 and APEC Small and Medium Enterprises was held on May 18-19, 2006. Chinese governmental officials, outstanding entrepreneurs and distinguished guests from APEC members gathered together, and leaders of famous enterprises at home and abroad, such as China Telecom, Agricultural Bank of China, Air China, CNC, Johnson & Johnson, BASF Group, Bank of Communications, Lenovo, Dell, Intel, IBM, TNT, Standard Chartered Bank etc., communicated with the leaders of growing small and medium enterprises at the event, which attracted nearly 500 guests.
