CPD Show Review: MadeInChina.com Outshines International Competitors with Superior Quality

MadeInChina.com, together with many Chinese manufacturers, attended one of the biggest trade show of the apparel industry from July 27 to 29, 2008. During the show, MadeInChina.com collected 184 copies of business cards from buyers and detailed information about 1,000 apparel purchasing enterprises.

As the most significant apparel show in the world, CPD enjoys an authoritative status in the apparel industry. Organized by Igedo Company, CPD is held in Duesseldorf Exhibition Center in Germany each Feburary and July, introducing the latest fashion trend of world apparel industry. As a trade show for clothing ordering, CPD is only accessible to industry professionals. Covering an area of 150,000 square meters, CPD received a total of 44,000 visitors from more than 90 countries. The show was divided into four segments: global fashion, HMD Men's Wear, body look lingerie and swimwear show, and international brand show. Most of the visitors are industry professionals, among which, 2/3 are decision-makers in the industry.

One of the fruits from the show is that we found a majority of the fair-attendees had a new understanding of “Made-in-China” products. Our on-site survey shows that among the parameters that affect their purchasing decision about Made-in-China products, quality is of paramount importance (46.15%), followed by creativity (42.31%) and productivity (23.08%). Quality is replacing price as the most appealing competitive factor in the eyes of international buyers.

MadeInChina.com aims to assist millions of Chinese manufacturers complete the transition from Made in China to Created in China with its integrated marketing services. Aside from its online marketplace, MadeInChina.com also offers Chinese enterprises a series of offline promotions such as trade journal and trade show promotion. Though this three-in-one model has been emulated by many other B2B platforms, MadeInChina.com remains to be a flagship in the industry and outshines the rest of the industry by offering tangible values and measurable results.

MadeInChina.com sparkled at German Fashion Show

Dusseldorf, Germany, July 29, 2008 -- MadeInChina.com, together with its represented companies, attended German Fashion Show CPD 2008 held in Dusseldorf Exhibition Center in Germany from July 27 to 29. MadeInChina.com attracted great attention from exhibitors, importers, traders and potential buyers, up to now, 3,295 brochures have been requested.

Organized by Igedo Company, CPD is held in Dusseldorf Exhibition Center in Germany each February and July to introduce the latest fashion trend of world apparel industry. As a trade show for clothing ordering, CPD is only accessible to professional visitors.

According to the staff from MadeInChina.com, CPD is one of the foremost international trade fairs for women’s wear, menswear, textile and apparel, fabrics and accessories. As the leading event in Northern and Central Europe, CPD is known for its diversified and full-ranged exhibit products. The show is set for the news release and goods order of the very year's autumn and winter clothing, while the summer show is for the news release and goods order of the next year's spring and summer clothing. Most of the visitors to the show are at a professional level, around 2/3 of who are decision-makers in the industry.

The large sign of “Made in China” at the booth of MadeInChina.com drew attention from global buyers, who talked about the fashion style and reasonable price of made-in-china products in different languages. In front of the booth staff from MadeInChina.com was talking with the buyers, introducing to them Chinese manufacturers and products in fluent German and English and distributing trade journals as well as product demonstration CD-ROMs. Some individual Chinese clothing and lining exhibitors also showed great interest at our booth and expressed serious interest in further cooperation with MadeInChina.com to strive towards international trade shows.
