Work Details
April 14
1) Thanks to the good position and positive propaganda, by 5:30 pm we had collected 185 buying lists, many of which from potential big buyers.
2) As for the publicity of our membership, we got in touch with four Chinese exhibitor enterprises. After in-depth communication, they expressed their interest in becoming our member. Two of them made it clear to join, with special requirements.
3) I had a pleasant conversation with the three vice-presidents of NAB over dinner, who promised us the authorization to use any article we want in officially released News Daily. Besides, the detailed exhibiting materials of other enterprises were also collected.
April 15
- 1) Buyers showed great enthusiasm towards us. By the end of the day, we had collected 272 buying lists. Through communication I found most of those interested in our website were big buyers like producers, who had great demand for products and high expectation for our website, which could save them from the trouble of searching by themselves. If they have special needs, they could also post them on our website, waiting for replies from Chinese suppliers. Meanwhile, their media status could provide very good side propaganda for us.
- 2) As for the publicity of our membership, I communicated with three enterprises, one of whom already appointed its marketing manager to discuss with us. I mentioned our special area and the revision of our website, hoping this would arouse more interest from them.
- 3) Besides, the pictures and sound recording of the interview with NAB executive vice president had been successfully completed. Some of the show pictures were also sent out.
April 16
- 1) Buyers still showed great interest in our website. 184 buying lists were collected that day. Some big importers and exporters also took this opportunity to develop their own channels. Some product users came up with special demands, which presented us a long way to go after the exhibition.
2) As for today’s publicity of our membership, I contacted with six enterprises, three of which expressed great interest in our website and asked about the details of our service for members. They might become members of our website and display their products in the show through our booth next year.
April 17
- 1) This is the last day of the show. Many exhibitors including Panasonic were already getting ready for the leaving, however, we stick to the end. In spite of the decreasing attendees, we received 114 buying lists anyhow, including those from big companies like Reuter. As for such companies, we need to make further initiative communication for detailed information.
- 2) The exhibitors I contacted with today were two powerful domestic enterprises. Due to the limited time, I just made a brief introduction of our website to them, who promised to keep in touch with us.
- 3) At the end of the show, NAB arranged the booth reservation for next year’s show, which was totally free. If we change mind after the reservation, we just don’t pay the money by the payment deadline in August this year. The reservation will be revoked automatically. Therefore, I chose a general booth in a good position, similar to that of this year.

Experience Sharing
1) Booth designing
The exhibition showed good image to participators, which had close connection with booth designing. Our booth approached the main entrance of main exhibition hall, coupling with the noticeable booth“MadeinChina.com”, which grasped attentions from a great number of visitors, and even set off standing in line for consulting.
2) Support from Sponsors
Hc360.Com has kept friendly cooperative relationship with sponsors all the time. Therefore, NAB offered sufficient convenience for us prior to and after the exhibition, such as choosing booths and handling with media certificates. They even invited some cooperative representatives and me to dinner with NAB seniors, which showed their high recognition for the work of MIC and HC360.com and ensured the smooth work for us during the exhibition.
3) Media Status
Based on the professional brand HC360.com, one of the industry website giants, MadeInChina.com, coupling with our own interview task, did an excellent job both as exhibitor and as media. We not only successfully gained various news materials, but also publicized the image of MIC among Chinese exhibitors through interviews, and promoted our sales meanwhile.
4) Materials
Pictures for products displayed at our booth were rich and detailed, and thus, customers often pointed these pictures to ask for the very product, which played a good role in propaganda. Meanwhile, our industrial journals and CDs also received remarkable welcome from exhibitors. We kept our passion until the last day of the exhibition.
