Summary

Water, Energy Technology & Environment Exhibition (WETEX) is organized by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), with 450 exhibitors from 25 countries. During the exhibition, DEWA signed contracts for 6 mega projects for the total cost of 12 billion RMB, showing Saudi Arabia’s huge demand in Water and electricity facility. In addition, it could be observed during the exhibition that work sites could be seen everywhere in Dubai and the demand for water and electricity is huge.

Photos and Video Interview

Over 1,000 photos taken in the expo and over 80 interview videos of visitors, foreign partners, events, exhibitors as well as members of the exhibition have been provided.


Material Distribution

500 discs have been distributed, as well as 200 copies of profession special issue and 700 propaganda pages. China Council for the Promotion of International Trade to Dubai Saudi Arabia, representative office of Chinese trade association in Persian Gulf States and Chinese mechanical and electrical products exhibition center in Saudi Arabia have also played their part in helping madeinchina.com with the propaganda and distribution work. 

Business Cards

2077 business cards have been collected, together with 4 Arabic water industry magazines with detailed information of 312 enterprises and 3 bulletins with information of 752 enterprises. 

110 copies of feedback from buyers have been collected 

Brand Promotion

Overseas: Around 300 enterprises from 25 countries got to know madeinchina.com after the peer-to-peer publicity. Domestic: All the 30 Chinese exhibitors have known madeinchina.com, many of whom consulted about the cost and effect of becoming a member of madeinchina.com at the site. 

Other Promotional Events

1. Organizing visit: MIC Summoned and organized Chinese enterprises and Chinese Taiwan water industry delegation to visit Dubai dragon city.
2. Expanding cooperation
     (1) Negotiated with the chief representative of Chinese trade association in the Gulf States and achieved recognition in cooperation.
     (2) Agreed on cooperation with Chinese Machine and Electricity Products Exhibition Center in Saudi Arab.
     (3) Established contact with DEWA, the organizer to negotiate about cooperation.
     (4) Got in touch with Arab Water World and negotiated about cooperation.
     (5) Established contact with China Council for the Promotion of International Trade to Dubai Saudi Arabia
