With a total investment of 1 billion yuan, the project is designed to produce 700, 000 tons of calcined petroleum coke annually and utilize the waste heat to produce 1 million tons of steam per year. In 2018, the first phase of the project was completed and put into operation, with six 60-tank calciners and an annual output of 350, 000 tons of high-quality calcined petroleum coke, 500, 000 tons of steam and 100 million kwh of power generation.
