Introduction

Rope pulley, cast iron pulley, pulley wheel, poultry farm equipment components

Cast iron pulleys are a common type of pulley, mainly divided into gray cast iron pulleys and ductile iron pulleys. Gray cast iron pulleys have good processability and minimal wear on steel wire ropes, but are relatively easy to break, so they are mostly used in light and intermediate working levels. Compared to gray cast iron pulleys, ductile iron pulleys have higher strength and impact toughness, making them suitable for heavy-duty applications. Cast iron pulleys are usually cast using sand casting technology. This material has good fluidity during casting and relatively few casting defects, making it an ideal material for making crane pulleys. The advantages of cast iron pulleys include good processability and low wear on steel wire ropes, but the disadvantage is fragility, especially in light and intermediate working levels.
