The Theory :
the metal ions separated from the workpiece and the phosphoric acid in the polishing solution form a phosphate film that is adsorbed on the surface of the workpiece. This mucosa is thinner at the protrusions and thicker at the recesses, due to the high current density at the protrusions The dissolution is fast, the unevenness changes continuously with the flow of the mucous membrane, and the rough surface is gradually leveled.
