This is a conduction cooled package (CS-Mount) high power laser diode,the output power is 80w under CW operating mode. Conduction-cooled CS LD is optimum solutions for solid state laser pumping, illumination,diode laser fiber coupling and direct diode needs.

Thermal effects in the gain medium reduce the laser efficiency, especially in continuous wave operation at high power levels. The time dependence of the laser pulse power of the cesium laser during the pump pulse obtained in our experiments. These thermal effects are also observed in long-time-phase pumped cesium vapor lasers, where the laser efficiency decreases due to the thermal lensing effect when the CW pump power is greater than 30 W. The laser efficiency of the cesium vapor laser is also reduced by the thermal lensing effect. Typically in high power gas lasers, the thermal effects can be eliminated or significantly reduced by the flow of the gas gain medium
