Sunwell Seals presents four distinct types of spiral wound gaskets to cater to varying requirements:
1. SW600-R Basic Type
The Basic Type is designed with reinforced inner and outer diameters, using multiple piles of metal without filler. This enhances stability and compression features, making it ideal for tongue and groove, male and female, or grooved to flat face flange assemblies.
2. SW600-IR Inner Ring Type
The SW600-IR includes a solid inner metal ring that acts as a compression stopper. It effectively prevents the accumulation of solids, reduces turbulent fluid flow, and minimizes erosion, safeguarding the gasket between the flange bore and the inside diameter. Perfect for male and female pipe flanges.
3. SW600-CG Outer Ring Type
Equipped with a solid outer ring, this type precisely locates the gasket on the flange face, adding radial strength to prevent blowouts and acting as a compression limiter. The easy installation feature, where the outer ring end touches bolts, makes it suitable for flat and raised face flanges. For class 900 and above, an internal ring is advisable.

4. SW600-CGI Inner & Outer Rings Type
Featuring an inner and outer ring, this type offers extra compression limiting capabilities, preventing corrosion on flange faces. Ideal for flat and raised face flanges and high pressure/temperature services, class 900 and above, or when dealing with corrosive or toxic media.
