According to different manufacturing processes, seamless steel pipes can be divided into hot-rolled pipes and cold-drawn pipes. Hot-rolled pipes are made by heating steel ingots or billets and then subjecting them to the pressure of rollers at high temperatures; cold-drawn pipes are made by extruding hot-rolled pipes or finished pipe billets through a die.
