Incoloy20

Chromium, on the other hand, forms a passive chromium oxide layer on the surface of the alloy, protecting it from oxidation and corrosion in various acidic and alkaline media. The addition of copper enhances its resistance to sulfuric acid, while molybdenum improves its pitting and crevice corrosion resistance.
 

Incoloy28

Incoloy28 is a high - performance alloy with a balanced composition of nickel, chromium, and molybdenum. The relatively high chromium content (around 27%) offers outstanding resistance to general corrosion in oxidizing environments. The nickel base provides good resistance to reducing acids, and the molybdenum addition significantly enhances its resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, especially in chloride - containing media.
