Albendazole Tablet

Composition: Albendazole

Indications: Albendazole is an anthelmintic medication effective against various gastrointestinal parasitic infections caused by roundworms, hookworms, pinworms, whipworms, threadworms, and tapeworms.

Precautions:

1. Long-term continuous use may lead to drug resistance.


2. Avoid use during pregnancy, especially in the first 45 days.

Side-effects: Normal therapeutic doses typically do not cause major side-effects in large animals. Small animals like dogs may experience anorexia at maximum doses, while cats may exhibit hypersomnia, depression, and anorexia.

Dosage:

• For horses: 5-10mg/kg of body weight orally


• For cattle, sheep, and goats: 10-15mg/kg of body weight orally

Withdrawal times: Cattle - 14 days, Sheep and goats - 4 days, 60 hours after weaning.

Shelf life: 2 years

Storage: Store in airtight, dark, and cool place.
