Product Description
Propylen glycol alginate CAS 9005-37-2 White powder It is made by deep processing of alginate extracted from natural seaweed.Almost odorless, tasteless. It can dissolve in water, dilute organic acid solution, benzene and other organic solvents, but some esterified products can dissolve in ethanol solution with less than 60% content. Its pH value is 3~4(1% aqueous solution), easy moisture absorption, heating to 55 ° C when brown, 220 ° C char, 400 ° C ash. Its relative density is 1.46. In pH3.4 acidic solution, neither gel nor precipitate. It has salt-out resistance and is stable to other metal ions except copper, chromium, iron (trivalent), lead and barium plasma.
