Mode of Action | Myclobutanil is a systemic triazole fungicide with protective and therapeutic activity. It mainly inhibits the biosynthesis of ergosterol in pathogenic bacteria, and has good control effects on Ascomycetes and Basidiomycetes. Its bactericidal principle is to inhibit the formation of cell membrane during the spore formation process of fungi (except oomycetes), so it has a therapeutic effect on diseases. |

Application
Myclobutanil can be absorbed by plant tissues and conducted upward in the plant's vessels. That is to say, myclobutanil sprayed on the lower leaves of the plant can be conducted to the upper leaves due to the pulling force of transpiration. However, the agent sprayed on the upper leaves cannot be conducted downward.
Myclobutanil has a certain promoting effect on plant growth. This may be because it does not have an obvious inhibitory effect on the secretion of gibberellin from the top of plants like other triazole fungicides.
Myclobutanil can be used in combination with most other fungicides, especially with methoxyacrylate fungicides. Their advantages are complementary and have multiple effects such as prevention, treatment, improvement of plant stress resistance and promotion of plant growth.
