It is widely used in Building System Technology to control Lighting, Ventilation, Heating, Air-conditioning,Blinds, Time Management,Energy Management and locking System. The cable also powers the sensors used.                       
The cables can be used in dry, wet or damp areas either inside or outside (if protected form direct sunlight), but can't be directly buried.
