Product Description
Product Description

Carbon fiber is a high-strength and modulus high-temperature-resistant fiber, which is a high-end variety of chemical fiber. Carbon fiber is made of specially treated high-quality polyacrylonitrile (PAN). PAN-based carbon fiber has 1,000 to 48,000 carbon filaments, and each carbon filament has a diameter of 5-10 μm, all of which are microcrystalline graphite structures. To create carbon fibers, carbon atoms are bonded together in crystals, and the parallel alignment of the fiber long axes gives carbon fibers a rather high strength-to-volume ratio. Thousands of carbon fibers are bundled together to form a fiber bundle, which can be used alone or woven into a fabric.

Carbon fiber is usually cured together with resin (Resin) into a composite material. These carbon fiber parts are lightweight and strong compared to parts made from metals such as aluminum or other fiber-reinforced composite materials.

Unique performance designability makes carbon fiber ideal for a variety of processes and applications.

Carbon fiber use
Carbon fiber is ideal for heavily loaded structural parts in aerospace, automotive, entertainment, and medical applications. In addition, carbon fiber is also widely used in wind power, energy and chemical industries.

Airbus' A350, A380 and Boeing 787 all use carbon fiber composite materials to reduce fuel consumption. The blades of large wind turbines, the bodies of racing cars and automobiles are all important factors that increase the demand for carbon fiber composite materials.
