CFS-396 Dimethyldimethoxysilane(DMDMS) Z-6194  KBM-22 CAS No. 1112-39-6 surface modifier.

CFS-396, Dimethyldimethoxysilane or Dimethoxydimethylsilane, or abbreviated DMDMS, is a monomeric alkoxy silane with two methyl groups. It can hydrolyze rapidly and form high-reactive silanols. It is well-known as the equivalent of Dow Corning Z-6194 or ShinEtsu KBM-22.

Applications
CFS-396 can be used as a resin modifier or a resin additive for various silicone resins.
CFS-396 can be used as a structure control agent and a chain extender for silicone rubbers, to replace hydroxyl silicone oil and improve the mechanical properties and extend the shelf life of the rubbers.
CFS-396 can be used treat silica and act as a surface modifier for the treatment of inorganic fillers, pigments and glass.
CFS-396 can be used in the silane backbone of polyurethane crosslinked silica aerogels.

Storage
CFS-396 is a highly flammable liquid. It should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated place, and avoid exposure to humidity.
CFS-396 should be stored in its original containers and used up as soon as possible after opening.
When stored in a strictly sealed and unopened container, CFS-396 has a shelf life of 12months.
