Description of flood barrier
Flood barrier is the barrier placed around or at individual buildings to keep floodwaters from entering those buildings. The material of flood barrier can be aluminum or stainless steel. It is commonly used at the entrance of parking garage, commercial buildings, street shops, nuclear power plant, tunnel or other places where there may be plenty of water.
The flood barrier system is highly watertight, easy to install and dismantle. It provides similar levels of protection to permanent flood defense, but with the distinct advantage of being fully removable when not required. They comprise aluminum panels that are inserted into the channels. Normally, the installation work can be finished within 10 minutes. Customized sizes or designs are also available.
