Quick drying silica sol

HSD supports the manufacture of a shell system that increases the efficiencyofproduction. By using HSD binders and refractories, it is possible to reduce shell drying times to a little as 30 minutes between coats Shells can be force air dried without the concern that the shells will crack for both the primary and back up shell layers. When using a modified colloida silica based shellsystem, it can also be possible to reduce the number of shel layers required.HSD shell systems have significantly higher green strength reducing,orinmost cases completely removing, any shell cracking during shel build or dewaxing. HSD shell systems have increased permeability, aiding the escape of gasses during air casting. HSD shell systems have slightl reduced fired and cooled strength, making it easier to remove the shell afte casting.Sinocast can provide shell systems for aluminium, magnesium, carbo steel,stainless steel,titanium and vaccum casting nickel based alloys such a Inconel.All HSD shell systems give an excellent cast surface finish. Contre and maintenance procedures are provided for each shell system, ensuring th maximum slurry life and maximum performance.
