Pharmacological actionThe antibacterial spectrum of this product is similar to that of macrolide antibiotics, mainly against gram-positive bacteria, and has strong inhibitory effect on Staphylococcus aureus, streptococcus, mycoplasma, actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, treponemal dysentery, etc., and its effect on mycoplasma is stronger than that of macrolides. It has weak effect on Gram-negative bacteria, especially intestinal bacteria.
AppropriatenessIt is mainly used for the prevention and treatment of chronic respiratory diseases in chickens, mycoplasma pneumonia (asthma), actinomycetes pleuropneumonia and treponemal dysentery. Low dose can promote growth and improve feed utilization.
Drug interaction1. This product can affect the metabolism of polyether antibiotics such as monenamycin and salomycin, and can lead to poisoning when used in combination, causing slow growth, dyskinesia, paralysis, and even death of chickens.
2. This product has antagonistic effect when combined with antibiotics that can bind the 50S subunit of bacterial ribosomes.
3. Combined with aureomycin at 1:4, this product can treat swine bacterial enteritis, bacterial pneumonia and treponemal swine dysentery, and has significant effect on pneumonia caused by mycoplasma pneumonia, bordetella bronchosepticus and Pasteurella multocida mixed infection
