Due to its excellent thickening, suspension, dispersion, emulsification, adhesion, film-forming, moisture protection, and provision of protective colloids, HEC has been widely used in fields such as petroleum exploration, coatings, construction, pharmaceutical and food, textiles, papermaking, and polymer polymerization reactions.
