DFT-DIRECT FORMING TUBE ERW Tube Mills able to produce square or rectangular tubes directly from sheet metal, without the need to make a round tube from which shape prodiles are later derived.
This technologh, together with the 'universal roll' design, allows for certain advantages over traditional forming:
1.reduction in the number of tooling required, an ONE set of roller allows all sizes included in the range to be made seamlssly, enabling special profiles to be made without the need for ad hoc tooling.
2.reduction in change-over time or, by comparison with traditional profiles equipped with quick change-over, reduction in the labour required for size change-over.
3.Saving in the material needed to form the tube.
