MAIN PRODUCT FEATURES
1. Warming blankets are aerodynamically designed in order to deliver an even distribution of heat throughout the entire blanket via controlled diffusion.
2. Additional features such as the size, the tuck-in flaps, and the attuned blower blanket are designed to make sure the blankets drape perfectly around your patient.
3. It creates a cocoon of warmth, resulting in heat transfer towards the patients which improves your patient's outcome through effective patient warming.
4. It increases the warming capacity by at least 10% by reducing radiant heat loss. The warming blankets may reduce heat loss by up to 80% in the perioperative environment.
5. The warming blanket can be used for the postoperative phase and is an all-in-one solution to keep the patient warm during the entire perioperative period.
WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO WARM THE PATIENT?
A constant body temperature between 36 °C and 37,5 °C is important. The body system will take care of thermoregulation, but not when this function is shut down by the anesthesia.
If the core temperature is too low, this may result in a greater risk of infection. Hypothermia may cause complications and with that increase costs.
When the operation under general anesthesia lasts more than 3 hours or the general operation lasts more than 2 hours, hypothermia is easy to occur.

Highlights

1. The hug design provides full, unrestricted access to the patient. while keeping the patient warm.

2. The fluid outlets reduce the pooling of fluids on the blanket's surface.

3. By maximizing airflow through the blanket's air channels and perforations, the blanket delivers consistent, even heating.

4. Imaging requirements are accommodated by soft, radiolucent materials.

5. This blanket has two resealable hose ports on either end, so you can place the hose in whichever direction you choose.

6. The blanket should be taped and tucked under and secured to the OR/procedure table with flaps.

7. Patients are surrounded by a "tent" of warm air created by two clear plastic drapes (included).

8. Provides warmth while allowing clinicians full access to a patient, even if they are a large child or a small adult.

9. Included clear drapes retain warm air around the patient and allow observation by the clinician.
