2. Usages
Aluminum sulfate is white lustrous crystalline, granular or powder. Sweet. Stable in the air. Soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol, acidic solution. Aluminum sulfate is a widely used industrial reagents, usually with alum (both twelve hydrated potassium aluminum sulfate) confused. Aluminum sulfate is usually used as flocculant, used for purification of drinking water and sewage treatment equipment, but also for the paper industry.

Aluminum sulfate in the paper industry as rosin, wax emulsion, precipitation agent glue, water treatment as flocculants, still can make foam extinguisher reserved in the agent, manufacturing, aluminum alum white material, oil decolorization, removal of raw materials, some drugs such as odorant. Can also be used for making artificial stones and senior ammonium alum. Arsenic content is not more than 5mg/kg products can be used for water treatment flocculant.
