Impact rollers are used to the transfer point of belt conveyor to absorb the shock produced by the material dropping.It is dedicated designed for the belt conveyor and is used to absorb the shock to the belt produced by the material dropping or belt deviation to safeguard the equipment and to extend the service life. It is especially suitable for coal cleaning plant, coking plant, chemical plant and other corrosive environment because of its superior features of corrosion-proof, anti-flaming and anti-static and so on.
 
  1. Types and structure
There are many types of impact roller including spring plant roller set, impact rubber ring roller, strong buffering roller, elasticity adjustable roller, hanging roller and others.
Its key structure includes main tube, bearing, seals, rubber rings and so on. With the co-work of all these components, the shock to the conveyor belt can be absorbed and dispersed.  

      2. FeaturesImpact roller has very high toughness, which is more than 10 times that of ordinary steel and last 5 times longer than traditional rollers. The roller body is made of special polymer material with good wear-resistance, self-lubrication and anti-corrosion properties and has no damage to the belt and longer service life. Its service life can reach more than 5 times that of ordinary rollers when used in corrosive environment.

       3.Application and selection guideImpact rollers are widely used in scenarios that the shock to the conveyor belt need to be buffered such as mining, chemical plant and so on. Impact rollers can be usually divided into light and heavy two types according to the use scenario and work requirements. The light type is suitable to the environment that transfer the light loads and lower shock buffering requirement; while the heavy one is used in the conveyor lines with heavy-duty or high-speed that requires strong cushion function. In addition, there are also adjustable impact roller, which adapt the different impact forces by adjusting the thickness of the rubber layer.

       4.Installation and maintenanceThe appropriate clearance between impact rollers and conveyor belt should be guaranteed during the installation and maintenance to ensure a good buffer effect. Regularly check the bearing status, rubber ring wear and the overall operation smooth or not, timely replacement and maintenance to ensure the stable operation of the entire conveyor system.
