They are designed to be used in tension.[2] Threaded rod in bar stock form is often called all-thread (ATR); other namses include fully-threaded rod, redi-rod, continuously-threaded rod, and TFL rod.

 		Threaded rod, as its name suggests, is a metal rod that is threaded throughout the entire length of the rod. It's typically made from carbon, zinc coated or stainless steel.
