Francis Turbine /Hydro Turbine/ Water Turbine/ Hydropower

Invented by James B. Francis, the Francis turbine is the most commonly used turbine, even today. Using radial and axial flow concepts, it is an inward flow reaction turbine. They are well-suited to hydro-power stations with medium or high head. 

Francis turbines manufactured by Fuchun are compact. Their design is good and reasonable. They have easy maintenance and operation structure. 

Fuchun manufacturing experience in Francis turbines range from 10 to 300 m in water head; from 100 kW to 28MW in capacity; and from 0.35 to 4.5 m in runner diameter. We flexibly change horizontal and vertical shaft to suit our customer's need for scale of power plant house and maintenance diffculty. We have much experience and feedback from using slide bearing and rolling bearing, including all the top bearing brands such as F-A-G, S-K-F and N-S-K.
