Foam swab collects more and releases more than traditional cotton swab, but price is more competitive than flocked swab. The head is made of medical grade open-cell polyurethane.The foam swab is ideal for collecting large amount of cells and rapid elution of the specimens that instantly releases the cells into the transport medium.
