Monro IPC (Inverter Pump Control) series, is also called VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) pump control,it works to control how a pump is used. The variable frequency drive ensures it supplies a CONSTANT PRESSURE - within the ability of the pump - according to the flow rate. The inverter pump control can be treated as the pump "protector", which increase the lifespan of a pump. Firstly, its soft starting comes to reduce wear and tear on the pump. Secondly, variable frequency drive can save energy due to the reduced use of the pump, resulting in less money spent on electricity.
