Preparation of Caustic calcined magnesite:

Magnesite, magnesite and magnesium hydroxide extracted from sea water or brine are calcined at about 800~1000ºC to decompose and discharge CO2 or H2O, and thenCaustic calcined magnesite is obtained, also known as Caustic calcined magnesite, caustic magnesium oxide or Caustic calcined magnesite, commonly known as bitter earth powder.Caustic calcined magnesite has loose texture and high chemical activity, which can not only be used for manufacturing magnesia cement, magnesite building materials, heat insulation materials, etc., but also as an intermediate product for producing high quality magnesia by two-step calcination.
