In the brewing process, it is a filler in beer barrels. It can replace oxygen to prevent the raw materials in the beer barrels from being oxidized into acetic acid.
It is also used in heat treatment processes to replace nitrogen and ammonia, and the effect is even better than nitrogen and ammonia. When stainless steel is heat treated, argon is used to protect the bending effect, which is better and less likely to break.

Notes:
Argon itself is non-toxic, but it has a suffocating effect at high concentrations. When the argon concentration in the air is higher than 33%, that is, when the oxygen concentration is reduced by less than 2/3 than usual, there is a risk of suffocation. When the argon concentration exceeds 50%, serious symptoms appear, and when the concentration reaches more than 75%, death can occur within minutes.
The symptoms of asphyxiation are: first, rapid breathing, decreased concentration, muscle movement disorder, followed by decreased judgment, loss of all sensations, emotional instability, general fatigue, and then nausea, vomiting, weakness, loss of consciousness, coma, lethargy, and even death. Liquid argon splashing into the eyes can cause inflammation, and contact with the skin can cause frostbite. Argon can be stored in glass bottles or steel cylinders.
