These non-woven wheels produce a wide spectrum of matt/satin/antique finishes. These wheels produce less dust and noise as compare to emery and other coated wheels. There is no chattering effect and these wheels can be used on any surface for eg. SS, MS, Brass, Copper and Wood.
It is often said that the job of non-woven abrasives begins where other grinding products leave off. The relatively non-aggressive nature of nylon and the abrasive grit used in non-wovens make them excellent finishing tools. With their open-mesh construction, non-wovens are waterproof, washable, and resilient.
They are made by compressing layers of non-woven fibers (web of nylon fibers) along with suitable abrasives to obtain wheels of different densities. They are impregnated with abrasives which have a three dimensional cutting action.
