PU/FKM Y-Type Hydraulic Cylinder Dust Oil Seal Polyurethane O Ring

The cross-section of the Y-shaped sealing ring is Y-shaped, which is a typical lip shaped sealing ring. Widely used in reciprocating sealing devices, its service life is longer than that of O-ring seals. The applicable working pressure of Y-shaped sealing ring is not more than 40MPa, and the working temperature is -30~80 ºC.
Y-shaped sealing rings can be divided into wide Y-shaped sealing rings, narrow Y-shaped sealing rings, and Yx shaped sealing rings according to the length to width ratio of the cross-section. The pressure resistance of wide cross-section Y-shaped seals is slightly lower than that of narrow Y-shaped seals, and can only be used in working environments with P<20MPa, while narrow Y-shaped seals can be used in situations with working pressure P<32MPa.
According to whether the height of the two lips is consistent, Y-shaped seals can be divided into unequal lip Y-shaped seals for shafts, unequal lip Y-shaped seals for holes, and equal lip Y-shaped seals for shaft holes. The manufacturing materials of Y-shaped seals are different, and they can be divided into nitrile rubber Y-shaped seals, fluororubber Y-shaped seals, polyurethane rubber Y-shaped seals, etc. [1]
Working speed range: When made of nitrile rubber, it is 0 01~0. 6m/s; When made of fluororubber, the speed is 0.05-0.3m/s; When made of polyurethane rubber, it is 0.01~lm/s. The sealing performance, service life, and working pressure limit of Y-shaped sealing rings with different retaining rings are all best achieved with polyurethane rubber material.
