Short Introduction
Rabies is a vital disease to both animal and human beings. Dog or cat could be a carrier without any clinical symptom. Vaccination could be apparently decrease the ratio of carrier and infection of rabies virus. But even after vaccination, there is still about 15% of total cases which could not generate protective antibodies. It is suggested to detect the Rabies antibodies for dogs after 45days vaccination.
The Rabies Antibody AB Test with reader is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay for the quatitative detection of rabies virus antibody (Rabies Ab) above the level 0.5IU/mL in dog's serum or plasma

Principle
The canine CPV-CCV Ag combination test is based on sandwich-type lateral flow immunochromatography analysis. The test card has two test windows for observing test runs and result readings. The test window has invisible T (test) and C (control) areas before running the measurement. When the treated sample is applied to the sample hole on the device, the liquid flows horizontally across the surface of the test strip and reacts with the pre-coated monoclonal antibody. If there are CPV or CCV antigens in the specimen, a visible T-line appears. In this way, the device can accurately indicate the presence of small viral antigens or coro antigens in the sample.

TEST PROCEDURE 

• Bring all materials, including specimen and test device, recover to 15-25ºC before running the assay.
• Remove the test device from the foil pouch and place it horizontally.
• Using the disposable dropper, place 2 drops of serum or plasma into sample hole "S" of the test device. Immediately place 1drop of assay buffer into the sample hole.
• Interpret the result in 10-15 minutes. Result after 15 minutes is considered as invalid.

• Positive (+): The presence of both "C" line and zone "T" line, no matter T line is clear or vague.
• Negative (-): Only clear C line appear. No T line.
• Invalid: No colored line appears in C zone. No matter if T line appears.
