DESCRIPTION
Powders come in a wide range of colors and textures. Gloss levels range from standard matt (30%), satin (60%), gloss (70%) to high gloss (80%). All +/- 5%. Applied film thickness is a minimum of 40 microns and up to 200 microns for thermoplastic powders.
Powders so prepared give matt finish powder coating which can be obtained easily and with precoatings which give somewhat acceptable matt finishes involved adding matting agents of varying types, but. Generally the degree of mattness was difficult to predict.
Matt finish powder coating due to the low gloss level is very good at concealing surface imperfections. Due to the textured finish, the surface is more difficult to clean than a surface with a higher gloss level. Unless stated otherwise this is the standard finish supplied.ADVANTAGES
