1. Product Description

Hanger type shot blasting machine mainly consists of blasting chamber, blast wheel, workpieces transport system, screw conveyor, bucket elevator, separator, dust collector, electric control system and others. Hanger type shot blasting machines are designed to blast castings, welded pieces, forgings, etc. They are especially suitable for blasting sensitive pieces that may not strike one another during a shot blasting procedure. Workpieces are placed in workpiece holders or are suspended directly from the running gear's rotating hook. The workpieces are then pushed into position in front of the blasting machine. After the blasting program begins, the machine door is automatically or manually closed and electric-pneumatically locked. As the workpieces rotate, they are blasted at different blasting stations according to the pre-set blasting times. The abrasive is continuously cleaned, recirculated and reused. An abrasive metering device feeds the cleaned abrasive from the abrasive storage bunker to the high-performance turbines. The dust collector unit creates the partial vacuum necessary to maintain the dust-free operation of the blasting unit.

2. Operation Process of Hanger Type Shot Blasting Machine 

The workpiece to be shot blasted can be directly hung on the hooks, and operate the control system brought to the traction system at the front of the shot blasting chamber, and then the hooks with the workpiece automatically enter the shot blasting chamber. After the hook enters the shot blasting chamber, the door of the shot blasting chamber will be closed pneumatically and electrically interlocked to prevent others from accidentally opening the door of the shot blasting room when the workpiece is being shot in the shot blasting room. The hook enters the shot blasting chamber to reciprocate and rotate back and forth at the set interval position so that the workpiece is fully ejected and the dead angle of ejection is reduced. Two hooks and one hook are projected in the shot blasting chamber, and the other hook can load and unload the workpiece. The shot blasting time can be adjusted according to the workpiece. After the shot blasting machine stops running, the door of the shot blasting chamber is opened to bring in and out the workpiece. The dust generated in the shot blasting process is filtered and discharged by the secondary dust collector.
