Tissue expander is widely used in cosmetic plastic and reconstructive surgery.This product is controllable-style expander, consist of expander capsule, injection block and aqueduct, made from high-grade quality medical silicone material.
Injection block can effectively prevent puncturing and slipping.It has a good one-way performance which can achieve freely injecting or pumping the brine which can help better control on the expanded level and time.
The advanced and integration manufacture process makes the expander capsule, injection block and aqueduct to form a solid whole.
Round expanders are often used in areas where a uniform expansion is desired, to provide symmetric expansion, which is ideal for areas like the breast, face or scalp, which is easier to place and adjust due to their uniform shape and is suitable for generating bulk tissue.
It is generally used when the scar is in large area (direct excision or local flap transfer is difficult). The advantages of skin expansion over skin grafts and flaps are the utilization of adjacent skin of similar texture and color, better effect, larger repair area and direct closure of the donor area.
