Product Description

 
Self-drilling screws are usually classified as self-tapping screws and are often called drill tail screws or self-tapping and self-drilling screws in daily life. Their tails are like drill bits and can drill holes by themselves. They can directly penetrate into the connected materials without the need for pre-drilling, thus greatly saving construction time.
 

Materials

Carbon steel: Commonly used, with a surface hardness of HV560 - 750 and a core hardness of HV240 - 450 after standard heat treatment. However, it is prone to rusting with ordinary surface treatments2.
Stainless steel: Self-drilling screws made of stainless steel have excellent anti-corrosion properties. For example, those made of 304 stainless steel have strong rust prevention capabilities, but they cannot be heat treated, have relatively low hardness, and higher costs. They are often used in environments with high requirements for corrosion resistan
